Being accused of something he didnt do

I know someone who has had prior arrests. One for marijuana and one for Oxycontin. He is a hard worker and does not do drugs. HE stopped all illegal activity has worked all of his life and has supported his fiance and he now has an 8 month old son. In 2006 he was accused of trying to rob a dunkin donuts in the drive thru on a bike. He was home that night with his fiance and his step mother. The worker at d&d supposedly does not speak english or understand english. First let me tell you that he went to the D & D every day 3 times a day and it took the person who ID'd him about 3 months to decide it was him who did this. She told the cops it was a hispanic male. This person is a white italian. He does not own a bike. and had no reason to try to rob anybody. Him and hIs fiance had $10,000 in the bank from a trust from her grandfather. When this girl said it was him they took her to his house to ID him. Instead of taking her to the police station to look at a line up. The cops came to his house and searched his house with out a warrant. HE was on probation so when he didnt call the probation officer and tell them he got arrested, even though he didnt commit this crime he got violation of probation and want him to go to jail for 20 months. In court this girl changed her story so many times from what the guy looked like and it was at night mind you to what he said to what he did. The whole story was messed up. The judge that day said there is something wrong and they better get their act together. The next day in court the judge said well we have to cut her slack because she does not speak or understand english. She had an interpreter with her in court. I went to the dunkin donuts and I personally spoke to this girl. and she understood and answered me in english. So she lied again. They have scared him so much from going to trial we have exhausted all of our funds, I got the vhs tape from D & D and hired a forensic anyalyst to tell if it is him or not but the tape is so old and played over he could not without a doubt say it wasnt him. He did say the arms look different. All that is on the tape is the guys hand and arm. No onw ill help us. I have tried everything. We cant afford to hire another attorney. His attorney is an idiot. He did not do this, had 2 alibis and the judge could care less. They are going on his 2 prior charges and that is not fair or right. Can they be in trouble for not having a warrant to search his apt. and by the way they were looking for a bike and he lives in a 2 room apt. And shouldnt they have taken this girl to the police station to look at a line up. Also this is tne 2nd time this girl has done this to someone and the first time she did it she never showed up to court. Any advice would be wonderful . I alos want to say that the manager of D & D is friends with this person being accused. He said he knew he didnt do this and him and the girl who accused him went to court and told the prosecutor that they didnt want to press charges and wanted everything stopped and the prosecutor said to them" why would you want to do that he is a felon". Who gives her the right to say that to anyone? Please help. Time is running out
