Ex leaving prison soon
Hello....My ex and I have been divorced for eight years. We have a
daughter who is almost nine. I have been happily remarried for almost eight years. My ex has not been in contact with our daughter nor has he paid any child support since she was born. In fact, he has been in prison for the last six or seven years, and could be released anytime in the next three years. My present husband would like to adopt "our" daughter. (He's been her father since she was three months old) How do we go about it? How much would a case like this cost? |

Adoptions are something that you really should hire an attorney for, especially if the father isn't willing to agree to an adoption. |
