Exclamation Help me, help my daughter! She put her child up for adoption.

I love my daughter very much and I'm trying to get some advise concerning recent events. In Jan she gave birth to a baby boy. She didn't tell anyone that she was pregnant, including the birth father. She put the child up for adoption and gave false information about the birth father. She moved back to our town a month ago and knowing my daughter I could tell that something was wrong and she finally opened up to me, as well as to the birth father. However, she led him to believe that the baby had passed away (she had complications and deliverd at 26 weeks) so that he would not try to contact the adoptive family. She just found out that he did contact the agency and he also wrote a letter to the adoptive family (how he found them we are unsure of) asking about the status of the child. She's very much a sweet and loving girl! She just made a poor choice and I can't help but blame myself for her feeling like she couldn't tell anyone. I am worried that she is going to be in deep water for putting false information about the birth father on the adoption papers. Also for not telling him about the pregnancy. What is going to happen to her? Is there anything I can do to help her?

the birth father can contest the adoption, since he was not giving proper notice.and possbile sue for and win custody, if he wants
