my childs custodian wants to adopt my child and I am willing to allow her to do just that. the child was born in 1986 and I have not seen the child for many years and the mother of the child abandoned that child with the custodian. me and the custodian resides in the same State but not City or County and i would like to know if I could set up a adoption hearing in any city or county? I agree to sign over my parential rights to the custodian and the custodian wishes to accept such parential rights and adopt the child and I need to experdite this but i need the steps to do this. I have the legal means to prepare my own paper work to file to save me the expenses but I need advise to know where I can go to do this and or could i do it in the county which I reside.

You seem to be confused or are incorrectly explaining your circumstances.

If the "child" was born in 1986, he/she is 23 and no longer a child and could be adopted by anyone.

Further, you say it is your child, and then state "the mother of the child" abandoned him.
