step parent adoption
I am a indian divorcee having one child .Now I am married to a U.S greencard holder.I have Guardianship and Permanent custody of my child.
can my new husband adopt my child? do I have to bring a consent from my Ex -husband for the adoption even if I have the guardianship of the child? what does the term guardianship mean? |

Your ex would have to agree to that. Or for some very unusual reason a court could order it.
