Default Guardians vs. Parents in TN

My legal guardians constantly are verbally and physically abusing me. During the past year, everyone has kicked me out of thier house. The only place I feel I can have a halfway decent life is my fathers. But my guardians won't even let me spend one night with him. I am planning on moving in with him soon, without thier permission. I'm 17 & 1/2 and think I am very capable of making my own decision. What can the law say if my guardians call them? What would be a good, fast way to go about this?

They could try to have the police escort you back but at 17 they may very well not want to do that if your father is willing to have you there.

--if some agreement cannot be reached among you all you could ask a judge to allow it--you could probably schedule a hearing without even having to hire a lawyer.

legaly, untill you are 18, they cannot kick you out, they can face neglect charges among other things. you might want to remind them of that
